Profile overview
Lüdaas functions as the voice of an empire whose ruler does not permit subordinates to own their words. His announcement gives the Gotei 13 five days before destruction, yet the moment he reports back, Yhwach makes clear that Lüdaas has no authority over either the deadline or the conquest.
Like Ebern, he also reveals the Wandenreich's control over Hueco Mundo before the occupation is fully explained. An Arrancar wearing Quincy insignia initially looks like an alliance between incompatible groups. His disposable treatment instead establishes conquest: Yhwach borrows the captive's body and voice, then removes both when their assigned purpose ends.
Lüdaas Friegen is an Arrancar recruited into the Wandenreich and dressed as one of its soldiers. While Asguiaro Ebern is sent to test Ichigo Kurosaki, Lüdaas leads the group that enters Soul Society and delivers Yhwach's declaration of war. He returns believing that a completed mission has earned him standing, but Yhwach mutilates and kills him for speaking as though the timetable and victory belonged to the messenger.
