Profile overview
Starrk's laziness is partly protection from attachment. He dislikes fighting because victory removes people who can share his world, yet his rank ensures that every battle asks him to prove the strength responsible for his loneliness. Avoiding effort postpones the loss without resolving it.
Lilynette makes his internal conflict visible. She pushes him to act, argues with his passivity and supplies the companionship he could not find outside himself. Their banter feels comic, but it is also the daily form taken by a soul that split rather than remain alone.
Coyote Starrk is the Primera Espada, the highest-ranked member of Aizen's Arrancar army. His spiritual pressure was once so intense that weaker Hollows died merely by remaining near him. To escape that isolation, he divided his soul and created Lilynette Gingerbuck, then joined Aizen in the hope of finding companions strong enough to survive beside them.
