Profile overview
Aries's repeated apologies are best read in the context of abuse. They are a learned effort to reduce danger, not evidence that Karen's treatment is acceptable or that Aries lacks an independent judgement.
Wool Magic expresses a form of strength based on cushioning, restraint and protection. Aries can make a battlefield softer without making it harmless, allowing her to defend Lucy while remaining recognizably herself.
Aries is the Ram of the Zodiac and one of the twelve Gold Key Celestial Spirits. Her soft voice, apologetic manner and wool-based magic make her appear fragile, but her history is shaped by endurance. Under contract to Karen Lilica, Aries is summoned for personal convenience, intimidated and treated as a disposable servant. Her quietness remains part of her personality, but later appearances show that shyness is not the same as consent and gentleness is not the absence of courage.
