Editorial method
Abilities are grouped by demonstrated function rather than speculative power ranking. The article avoids late-series outcomes and cross-franchise comparisons.
The direct answer
Mob is an exceptionally strong psychic with telekinesis, barriers, spirit perception and the ability to interact with psychic energy. His most important limitation is not a small energy supply. It is the emotional and ethical difficulty of deciding when power should be used at all.
Core psychic abilities
Telekinesis lets him move, restrain and redirect objects or opponents. Barriers provide protection, while spiritual awareness allows him to perceive and exorcise entities invisible to ordinary people. These categories overlap because the anime presents psychic force as flexible rather than a rigid list of named attacks.
- Telekinesis and environmental control
- Protective barriers
- Spirit perception and exorcism
- Energy transfer, absorption and projection
What the percentage counter means
The counter measures emotional pressure approaching an expressive threshold; it is not a conventional fuel gauge. Different emotions can reach 100%, and the resulting state reflects what Shigeo has been unable to process openly.
This mechanic makes suppression a visible risk. Calm behaviour can represent healthy restraint, but it can also hide accumulated fear, sadness or anger.
The limitations that matter
Mob's ethics prevent the story from treating maximum force as the obvious answer. He does not want psychic status to define human worth, so victory achieved by domination can still represent personal failure.
Ordinary goals remain outside the shortcut offered by psychic power. Fitness, honest conversation and mutual friendship require repetition and vulnerability. That boundary is central to the character, not an arbitrary weakness added to make fights longer.
