Profile overview
Mashiro treats danger as a stage for enthusiasm. Calling herself a Super Lieutenant is comic self-promotion, yet it also refuses the idea that exile or Hollowfication made her lesser. She names the role she wants and behaves as though acceptance has already followed.
Natural talent creates her central limitation. Because the mask lasted so long without training, Mashiro assumes control is permanent. Her fight with Wonderweiss shows that unusual aptitude still needs maintenance, judgment and respect for an opponent.
Mashiro Kuna served as Kensei Muguruma's lieutenant in Squad 9 before Aizen's Hollowfication experiment drove the unit into exile. Unlike the other Visored, Mashiro could initially keep her Hollow mask active for more than fifteen hours without formal training. Her exuberant confidence and kick-based combat make her appear carefree, but she returns to Squad 9 and takes an active training role alongside Kensei and Shuhei Hisagi.
