Profile overview
Killua meets Gon during the Hunter Exam with extraordinary competence and very little experience of ordinary friendship. He can analyse danger, endure pain and kill efficiently, yet simple companionship feels unfamiliar enough to become transformative.
His development is a struggle between conditioning and choice. Retreat can be intelligent, but training built around fear teaches him to treat survival as obedience. Friendship gives him a reason to examine whether caution expresses his own judgement or someone else's control.
Killua Zoldyck is a child trained as an assassin who discovers through friendship that inherited skill does not have to determine what he values, protects or chooses to become.
