Profile overview
Kaede carries history without trying to force its participants back into their old roles. She remembers Kikyo, Inuyasha and the original Jewel crisis firsthand, but generally treats Kagome as a distinct person whose choices cannot be reduced to reincarnation. That patience makes her guidance more useful than simple authority.
Her village functions as the group's return point because Kaede combines spiritual knowledge with ordinary care. She treats injuries, gathers testimony and explains dangers while continuing to serve residents who cannot fight demons themselves.
