Profile overview
Holo calls herself wise because knowledge is both earned experience and social performance. She reads pauses, incentives and pride quickly, then uses wit to make another person reveal more than intended. Negotiation is one of the ways she tests whether Lawrence can meet her as an equal.
Longevity gives that confidence a quiet limit. Holo has watched communities change and companions disappear, so teasing can protect her from admitting how much another temporary bond matters. The journey north is therefore geographic and emotional: home is a destination, a memory and a fear of what time may have changed.
Holo is a centuries-old wolf deity once worshipped as the harvest god of Pasloe. When the village no longer needs its old bargain, she leaves in merchant Kraft Lawrence's wagon and begins a journey toward her northern homeland of Yoitsu.
